Design inspiration for many of the Scotch Pebble pieces has been drawn from notable historical artifacts including the Columba Pillow and the renowned Hunterston Brooch now in the care of the Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh.

Originally, they incorporated agate, bloodstone, carnelian, granite, jasper or marble from such sources as Ayrshire, Ross of Mull, Isle of Skye and Sutherland.

Our hand formed and polished natural pebble gemstones continue in this tradition. The natural colors reflect the hues of the bens and glens - no two pieces are identical.
